Constricted or tuberous breast deformity may include a high tight appearing inframammary fold, a flat appearing lower pole of the breast, and enlarged puffy areola with wide spacing between the breasts. The deformity may be mild, moderate, or severe.
Treatment
The treatment for constricted breast deformity depends on the severity of the deformity. Frequently, treatment includes breast augmentation with a breast implant. The breast implant can help improve the size and shape of the constricted breast. Additional steps may be taken to release the constricted breast tissue in the lower pole of the breast.
