The patient presented with concern that her ears “stuck out” from the side of her head. Dr. David Bray, Jr. performed bilateral otoplasty to position the ears closer to the head and improve the shape of her ears.

The patient presented with concern of the shape of his right ear. His primary concern was a pointed appearance of the top of his ear. The patient wanted his right ear to look like his left ear. The patient’s ear shape was described by the patient as a Stahl’s ear, however, the ear did not have the characteristic third crus and therefore the shape was more accurately described as a Satyr ear deformity. Dr. David Bray, Jr. performed ear shaping with excision of the superior helix and ear deformity with helical reconstruction. The patient was very happy with his result.
